I consider myself a late bloomer when it comes to visiting parks. I had visited Alabaster Caverns as a kid, and dug crystals at the Salt Plains, but I had my first intentional experience when I visited Roman Nose State Park at the age of 27. I am a huge fan of our state parks, and learning about the land we recreate on, so I have started to put together my personal guide to the parks that I love.
