In the last four months I have been asked to be the wedding photographer for two of my cousins. It was a real honor, and I hope never to be asked again. :)
To be told true, it was really special to get to spend such intimate time with my two cousins and their newly betrotheds — and I am so glad that I was asked to take these photos.

March 8, 2025 - Jairus McDonald & Ana Rocha

Jairus & Ana live in Mexico City, so this was my opportunity to really get to know Ana in our broken understanding of each other’s language. It’s a blessing to know that your cousin is marrying such an amazing person, especially when they live so far away.

June 14, 2025 - Leah McDonald & Andrew Terry

And this wedding… It was nice to have a job that kept me from losing all of my eyeballs the entire weekend. Anyone could have taken these photos, and captured who Leah is, and the redemptive joy and love that is Andrew and Leah together — but we have been on a journey growing brave bones, healing deep wounds, and relying on Jesus together—and it truly was an honor to take these photos, and be a part of Leah and Andrew’s wedding.
